Hi, Rich

I like the way you put that and I also understand your " old Idea " of what's

wrong with having a cooked food day for the fun of it..I have had that thought,

but I'm not doing it right now, but I have had some popcorn and a few pretzels

in the last week..I, Too, am familiar with 90 meetings in 90 days and it works

with this also..I'm fairly new to this also and have had times when I have

succumbed to cooked food and I don't show up here much then either. Hang in

there and glad you are here..One day at a time, brother. Gaynellxo

Well, another day raw. I appreciate having this forum to go to

everyday. I know what AA means by 90 meetings in 90 days now. I

didn't need that to stop drinking, but I do need eat to stay raw.

I'm getting comfortable again, which means I think, what's wrong with

having a cooked food day. Big deal, it's fun. But I'm committed to

this way of eating and I need to get past this stage of wnating to

eat cooked just for the fun of it. It's nice to focus in on this

forum as my commitment centerpiece and give me the focus of wanting

to be 100% raw because that's how I'm happiest sharing on here. If I

wasn't 100% raw, I wouldn't show up here, I'd be too busy being

miserable. So, a meeting a day, or two if I get the chance, is just

what I need until I'm comfortably raw. An on-line meeting is better

than none.

Thanks for the compliment. I'm on about day 45. My succumbing to

cooked food is hopefully all behind me. I'll probably need to be on

here more than 90 days consecutive though. I'm not looking forward

to 4 hours straight television. I never watch more than 2 hours

straight normally because it makes me want to eat cooked. But since

I'm an Eagles fan and live in Phila. area, I'll have to struggle

through watching the whole Super Bowl.

I watched the first half, then took an hour break, when I got back to

the game it was tied at 14. Then I got to see the Patriots go for

two scores and cement the victory. Oh well, maybe I can stop

watching television now. I really don't feel like spending my time

on the stupid thing anyhow.

Sounds to me like you are really committed to this and that is an inspiration in

itself..I enjoyed what you said about the potluck and how nothing was worth

blowing your rawfood journey. That's great.

I am so committed to this I am the living embodiment of raw food

eating. Watch out David Wolfe, I'm going to take your crown one of

these days and lead the masses to raw food eating. My inspiration

will change the world. That's my goal. Nothing is worth getting in

the way of my diet for my long term plans.
