Guest guest
I just got the 80/10/10 book and plan to start following it, as soon as I can get to the store and buy all those fruits. Reading it I learned I was eating way to many fats in the form on nuts. No wonder my weight was not going down. I wonder, do you weigh the bananas with or without peels?? Does anyone have an answer to that question?? Helen , " Robyn Lawrence " <rob.bob wrote: > > What is the difference between these two diets? Guest guest
Graham’s 80/10/10 book is more the real deal, telling you how to do 100% raw vegan, whereas the other one is a transition type book. I guess it depends on where you are at and how much transition you need. You can read the basics of Graham’s approach under the FAQ page at HYPERLINK " http://www.foodnsport.com/ " www.foodnsport.com. Personally, I thought the 80/10/10 diet was a great book and I wasn’t that impressed with Natalia Rose’s book, from a quick review I did in a bookstore. But Rose’s book might be perfect for somebody who has only been into healthier eating for a short time and needs to transition, or who has no interest in ever eating 100% raw. But Graham’s book could also be used for transition. I think it’s very helpful to know what the ultimate ideal is, even if you aren’t able to follow it to the letter right away. I just got done reading RFD and was going to go with that until I saw 80/10/10 mentioned here. I will order the book if I need to but was just wanting a quick overview. -- Version: 7.5.446 / Virus Database: 268.18.8/717 - Release 3/10/2007 2:25 PM -- Version: 7.5.446 / Virus Database: 268.18.8/717 - Release 3/10/2007 2:25 PM
Guest guest
I highly recommend David Wolf's book The Sunfood Diet Success System, the last edition. It help me a lot. The best book in my raw food library. You can go to amazon.com and check the reviews if you like to know more. mkh <hovila wrote: Graham’s 80/10/10 book is more the real deal, telling you how to do 100% raw vegan, whereas the other one is a transition type book. Guest guest
> I really loved Natalia Rose's book, infact I just bought her second one tonight. What I love most about it is that it gives options for everyone and opens the door for anyone interested in raw foods. I think for alot of people the raw food lifestyle can be very intimidating at first and this book makes it less so. I know for me I am working towards 100% raw, right now I'm about 90% and vegan. I really love all of the recipes also. I have a dehydrator and all of the fancy tools but sometimes I don't want to do all of that work but desire something more interesting then a salad. As with anything you can take what works for you and leave the rest behind. Guest guest
Hi everyone, I love David's books and David however, I reckon his approach is too high in fat and salt and chocolate etc. I've started on801010 and it feels SO natural ! ! !
