Guest guest
greetings Marjorie & Raw Family,Rezz here. The 10pm Club may very well be a great idea for those among us going after the best raw bliss ever. I feel that for us to really apply the massive quality information and knowledge that we have combined, we need the best Appliances available immediately. I think that we aught to join each other raw family person in efforts to acquire all the top quality juicers, blenders, mandolins, etc. We know that the individual cost for such brand new machines can range from $5,000 - $10,000 easily. This price range is referring to the total electric and non-electric appliance cost for a Raw Kitchen. There is more than enough of us to defray this cost to as little as $100 person. [of coarse some of us can afford slightly more or less]Some people may feel as though major appliances are unnecessary or not even needed to create raw dishes & drinks. Yet, not a single raw restaurant can exist without these appliances. Another raw chef told me once that he felt all that is needed is a "good" knife and a solid cutting board or surface. I can only laugh at this because we collectively know better than this. In these times, we aught to use everything that is attainable worldwide! Why not go after these raw catalysts with all of our powers cooperatively family? I pose this to each one of us for real? The equipment can be kept at an agreed upon space and utilized regularly by All of whom contribute in some form or fashion to the collection of these appliances. Please let me know what YOU {Yes, You too!} think about this? Can we make it happen here in this transient DC metropolitan area? Finally? Or what will BE?Most Urgently,~Rezz You snooze, you lose. Get messages ASAP with AutoCheck in the all-new Mail Beta. Guest guest
Peace Everyone, Rezz, what you said was abSOULutely on point. However, that thought process of collective resources can even be taken higher. A few months back I was out in Oakland. I happen to ran across a sistah who is vegan. We started talking and me to a dinner. It was a moving experience. I had the best vegan/vegetarian meal in my life. Out there they participate in a collective kitchen. They have a community of vegan, raw foodist, and vegetarians that prepare and cook together. FELLOWSHIP. They all pull resources together and come as a family. Every night different individuals gather in someone's home and make blessings happen. I would really love to see that in the DC metro area. I don't mind paying for a " cooking or non cooking " class, however I enjoy the idea of collective and community resourcing. , Rezz Yisrael <zirlah wrote: > > greetings Marjorie & Raw Family, > > > Rezz here. Guest guest
I love the idea. even though I'm living in Baltimore (and most of ers are more in the DC area), I'd love to help facilitate this in some way or another. For one thing, here's a web page anyone can use to fill in event details, if you want to set something up. Just click on EditText, below: http://wiki.foodfacts.org/index.php?pagename= At some point we could also use calendar software, but this might be the easiest way to get started. If anyone creates an event, you can describe it there, announce it, say how many people are allowed, ask people to sign on, or call, or whatever. Another option is to set up party2win.com, and have people sign up for events, but that takes more work. I did it (and I think Sonia did it, too) for the Rawfor30days screening, but it takes time and attention to set up. With the wiki, you can just type (trying to be sure not to delete others' writings... http://wiki.foodfacts.org/index.php?pagename= Another option (I think like web developer) would be to write a google map application so we can all find each other, but that's even more work. In any case, I'd love to share group meal-prep-time together, if we can figure out a way to make it really happen.
