Enjoy a: ~Vigorous and energizing Kundalini yoga set ~Experience a nourishing Hatha & Kemetic yoga flow with a soul engaging meditation to enhance the practitioner' s experience and~Explore Chanting of bij (seed) mantras to further fortify the pranic revitalization as the chakras are ignited and tuned.____________ _________ _________

Speaker Sokhna Heathyre Mabin is a vocalist of sacred sound, teacher and student of Hatha, Kundalini, Prenatal and Kemetic Yoga, as well as pre/postnatal doula. Sokhna teaches from a deeply personal and devotional practice and study of over 20 years. Her instruction, rooted in continuous personal observation, links alignment, movement and connection to breath which when unified open the channels of fluid creative flow in the physical body. This connection marries the physical and spiritual bodies. As an experienced practitioner of breath control, Pranayama, Sokhna Heathyre has learned how to invoke the primal spiritual life force which issues forth from the energy centers of the human body.

 

Sokhna Heathrye has taught in Jamaica, Senegal and Ghana, West Africa, and across the United States. She has trained with various gifted teachers across a myriad of styles of yoga - Robyn Janis, Brooke Meyers, Mary Dunn (Iyengar Yoga), Jasmine Tarkeshi and Dana Flynn (Laughing Lotus - vinyasa flow), Krishna Kaur Khalsa (Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan) & YOGA for YOUTH - for incarcerated youth, and Yirsir Ra Hotep (Kemetic Yoga).
