In fact you can feed the entire line of sugar cane in the auger. It’s on the shelf for the winter but in the spring and summer months I will have fresh cane juice available. The hand crane is a cheaper alternative but I don’t have any info on how to get. There is a place in NYC that sells cane juicers in lower east village I have heard.
