Guest guest
People sing the praises of Vitamix and Blendtec when it comes to green smoothies. I know they are amazing machines, but I am on a budget. Is there any reason why I couldn't use my food processor instead? Thanks!

Guest guest
Hello Mazou, I use my Oster blender that I bought from Walmart for 40 bucks. I had it for a year now and its still going strong. It may not be as smooth as the blentec or vitamix, but my smoothies are smooth enough where there are no chunks. I can relate to being healthy on a budget. Congratulations on your smoothie journey. -------------------- People sing the praises of Vitamix and Blendtec when it comes to green smoothies. Guest guest
Danalynkr, I know, they are a little chunky!! I can handle it as long as the nutritional benefits are the same.
