soak, soak, soak your nuts! ;-)most bars use dates (soaked and ground) as the sticky or flax seed which is very gelatinous. Since I'm a proponent of good food combining, I would encourage you to use either nuts/flax and greens (perhaps leftover from juicing) - you can add some kraut or kimchi to spice it up OR just dry some fruit or a fruit mix or make a compote and dry it into fruit leathers.

remember to drink extra water when eating dehydrated goodies!hugs and greens,Sharon~~Sharon Greenspan~~ Dissolve Your Sugar Habit ~~ Boost Your Immunity ~~ Have More Energy

I would like to make raw energy bars from fruit, nuts and seeds. What are some good ways to " glue " it all together?

Use dates, raisins, agave, honey, figs, or apricots for your 'glue' in raw bars.
