greetings family, give thanks Shakti, yes indeed. the circumstances currently with my-self is as a single/unmarried person with a soul~journer right now. without children, been living in costa rica, i have primarily done work-exchange & barter with farms & intentional communities. yes, i have spent a bit of colones {local currency} as well, mainly by eating out almost everyday (once a day) during periods of transition between towns, locales, farms, etc. if alone, i know i would have spent less and eaten less often. one thing is the practicality of movement. if you can not pick it up & carry it, i suggest leaving it to capable hands. having multiple bags has been an issue of underlying tension here.a person completely "single" can

couch surf easily whether male or female! yet, this is not necessarily needed for many countries. it is simply a matter of disengaging the programming of fear to leave "our" jobs, relatives, comfort zones, etc. and getting hesitations out the way to illuminate patterns of rationalizations that reenter complacency.i have been most recently living on a bio-dynamic farm called gaiam one, south/central valley of the country and it is beautiful indeed. all the piped-in water [faucets] are mountain spring water from the tallest peak in CR at an altitude over 12,500 ft above sea level, so it is the first truly drinkable "tap" water i have experienced. most use a precaution such as GSE [grapefruit seed extract] in any water they drink while traveling, something i still suggest.also, i cannot emphasize enough the indigenous knowledge that anyone of us can still procure for one-self while living in such

environments! there are fruits and herbs here that no one has ever mentioned to me whatsoever & so many plants that can teach us the metaphysical + mystical realizations in life. one of the rare plants, is a tree that produces what is called Miracle Fruit. it is a small bright-red succulent pod roughly size of fresh goji berries and it enables us to eat any sour, tart and/or bitter fruits [especially citrus] as if they were sweet after the miracle fruit is enjoyed! another one is called snake fruit, cultivated from bali, that is sometimes findable. so many here! Also, for anyone who is looking for and/or needing resolve for any use of chemical, drug, "foodstuff", craving, etc. please utilize the following and remind ourselves that...."the knowledge goes much further than we use to think" IBOGA from western/central africa [gabon, congo,

cameroon]While ibogaine's prohibition

in the U.S. has slowed scientific research into its anti-addictive

properties, the use of ibogaine for drug treatment has grown in the

form of a large worldwide medical subculture.[2]

Ibogaine is now used by treatment clinics in 12 countries on six

continents to faciltate detoxification and chemical dependence to

substances such as methadone, heroin, alcohol, powder cocaine, crack

cocaine, and methamphetamine, as well as to facilitate psychological introspection and spiritual exploration. Greetings Rezz,

Thank you for sharing this important information. PLease share what your specific situation is: do you have a family? are single? are you couch surfing? living in an intentional community? etc. I think those details make it easier to visualize the possibilities for ourselves. Abundant Goddess Blessings!

Peace,

Shakti http://www.livinglotuswellnesscenter.com/

I like this conversation because it opens up possibilities and options for

people they have never considered. I think we can all come up with reasons or

roadblocks to living how we truly want to live. It might be easier for Rezz to

move around or to travel light because he is single without children yet we can

all do this regardless of our situation. It would be easy to discredit the kind

of life we want to have by saying, " well he can do it because he has no (kids,

wife, bills, house, etc) which only serves to create more roadblocks for our

lives to never change.

I like the idea of us all looking at how we truly want our lives to be and then

creating a time line on when and how we can create that. Living in another

country is not as difficult as we have made it out to be--the main hindrance is

a bunch of illusions we have created. In addition, couch surfing and bartering

is great for some but there are other ways to live abroad if that is not your

style.

I like the idea of more conversations about what is out there so more people

will take this opportunity. Skai living in PR is a great example of this. Thanks

Rezz for sharing. I especially enjoyed reading about the fresh spring water

flowing down into the faucets and about all the fruits we have never seen being

plentiful. It makes my mouth water just thinking about it.
