Today he will get a scoop of ice cream to celebrate, followed by a run at the park with me, my daughter, and his favorite soccer ball. I put his picture up in the photo section of the group. Are you all as big a fool over your pets? *lol* ~ P_T ~ P.S. Two dogs: Sean - a rough collie (lassie type) Terra - mixed breed, German shepherd and golden retriever There aren't any pictures of Katy online at the moment, but the dogs can be seen at: http://www.meadows.pair.com/pals.jpg Katycat, of course, is the Ruler of the House and in fact, she believes she is the Supreme Empress of the Whole Universe! I have only the one dog, and two cats, Latte and Fiona. They both rule the house like queen goddesses. Cat's truely think they are divine; I tend to agree. Now my dog always acts like he is a happy little child; so zen and forgiving of all my faults. My cats love it when I dabble in night gardening. Anyway: there are coyotes here. Our neighbors saw one not 1/2 mile from our house. And coyotes think cat = dinner. This is very bad. So Ms. Katycat goes out every morning around 7 am. Then she comes in for a quick snack and a short snooze around noon - then out again all afternoon and in around 3:30 pm. She has her Royal Dinner around 4 pm, and stays in until the next morning. Our neighbor died suddenly and his family was going to put them to sleep, and that just didn't sit right with us. I didn't know the first thing about dogs, but they have been a wonderful addition to our family and we are so glad to have them.
