I invented it the other night when I needed something creamy. Melt 2 Tbsp of butter and saute some chopped celery, onion and carrot until the onion is soft. Then add 3 Tbsp of flour and 4 cloves of minced garlic and cook until mixed with veggies. Add 1.5cups of soymilk and a veggie boulion (sp?) cube broken up. I was so far behind in my emails that I just had to delete some of them and unfortunately this groups emails were the ones that I had to delete. Sure am sorry about that. But it sure did help tho to get somewhat caught up. Now that the house is empty for a little while and I have some nice music on, I thought I would just sit here for a little while and start answering some emails. MMMM sounds good to me Allison to have the Mexican food. LOL Tho I don't think I would have eat all I want. That would just add more pounds which I sure don't need. Heehee. Isn't there a way that maybe you can highlight the recipe you want and then transfer it over to your email or something and then go from there? I'm very computer illiterate as you can see. So what does PDF stand for. But you're right tho that they probably want you to buy the book or something. And I'm so glad to hear that you are enjoying the Vegan recipe booklet that they sent you. I know that on Wednesdays at 1 PM my time Pacific Time and Linda Shelton and Barbara Kerr is on, tho sometimes she will have someone else, but it is mostly Barb Kerr and she is always showing different foods that she has prepared and they are all Vegan. And get this, her husband who use to eat meat is now into Vegan for about 2-3 months and he has lost weight. Of course with exercise. Just had to share. OH another thing too, this gentleman, who's daughter is very good friends with my oldest daughter went thru the CHIPS program and he lost a lot of weight and looks really good. His wife told me that he was very heavy on the chicken and fries and stuff so this is a real change for him. But really I was really shocked to see how much thinner he looks and looks so much healthier too. I think I'm going to have to get them to help me out so that I can lose weight. Heehee, then maybe I won't feel so nauseous all the time. I sure hope so. Take care and have wonderful day.
