Guest guest
Okay you are going to have to help me out here for I am having one of my " dumb question " moment over here in the West. I am a Vegetarian, tho I eat, sometimes eggs and drink skim milk and the odd cottage cheese and hard cheese. (That has been cut down drastically). Now I was told that I am a Vegetarian but a full fledge Vegetarian will not have any eggs or dairy products at all or meat. Am I right so far? Please reassure me that I'm not losing my mind over here. LOL I am trying to cut out on the dairy products but that is sometimes hard to do in my case. Sometimes. I wish someone would answer this for me. Yes a dumb question coming up. Why in the world would people ask you do you eat meat? You say no I don't eat meat. And then they will ask you, do you eat chicken or fish? I tell them no I don't eat either one. Now if chicken or fish is not meat WHAT THE HECK IS IT? LOL I have been wondering about this for so long so PLEASE help me out here. okay? Don't need to apologize for the lengthy email Maija. I found it very interesting and you certainly didn't ramble. Glad you're here Les, Gary, Anna & Karen. Welcome aboard. I'm Jeanne alias JC who is a Vegetarian for all my life. As you can see I'm not telling how long. LOL Anyrate hope you enjoy it here. As someone once said P_T your is having a hic-up moment. LOL Well I can't take any kind of cologne or perfume. I can't breathe if anyone has either one on, for I have asthma. Glad to see you here Caroline. One thing I learned and that is if a person has a hard time figuring out what the person is saying all they have to do is ask the person so don't worry about any misspelled words okay? Just glad you're here. Well nighters to you all. Hope you have sweet dreams tonight and no nightmares. Guest guest
You're a vegetarian...Don't let anyone tell you what you are or aren't. There is no reason to have to give up all animal products (xcept health) to be a 'vegetarian.' As we've been discussing...Eggs and milk will come from the animal whether we intervene or not. So why not partake these wonderful gifts? You are a ovo lacto vegetarian if anyone should ask. There, now you're labeled! How does it feel? Warmly, Allison --- " Jeanne C. No. The person who eats no eggs or dairy products - no animal products at all - is a " vegan " . > Please >reassure me that I'm not losing my mind over here. Now if chicken or fish >is not meat WHAT THE HECK IS IT? LOL I have been >wondering about this for so long so PLEASE help me out >here. okay? Because other people who do eat chicken or fish say that they are vegetarians. This causes confusion. Also, many people don't *like* to think of what they eat as having been living creatures once, so they feel threatened by anyone who doesn't eat meat.... > >Well I can't take any kind of cologne or perfume. Some perfumes bring on asthma for me, others just give me a splitting headache.d We have the most beautiful bushes outside our house (we just this house last year). They are covered with yellow bloom in spring and are quite spectacular -- and I couldn't breathe, had real bad asthma whenever I got near them when they were blooming. They're getting ripped out this spring. Sad, but necessary. > >Glad to see you here Caroline.
