Harlan's a favorite of mine, too. I cannot speak for others, but my

quotation signatures are all found by me, and entered by me into

my email signature program. I've never seen a quotation

generating program, although I suppose they make them.

Glad someone's reading them.

Dear Maija,

Of course, some of us also read , and have favourite people. A couple of top

favourites of mine are Gandhi and Bertrand Russell, by the way, and I do

have all their books, which I've read more than once each. But, to tell you

the truth, although I could get up and search in my library, even for them I

find it less laborious to find them already excerpted on the web. There are

many quotations websites, and I can bet that in 99% of the cases that's

where people find them.

Our group owner is really great with her quotations, a new one every time

and all of them so carefully chosen, I really admire her patience and good

taste!

I've got quite a collection myself, of quotations I like and I copy paste,

from websites and from messages. Here are some websites to get you started.

You'll surely find lots of stuff there to spice up your signature.

Happy browsing!
