Guest guest
Yes, we agree that the food they issue in school lunch programs sucks. Why does it, though? How come it's so bad, when in our day there was even a school nutritionist making sure the food offered was healthy and fresh? What changed? Corporate thinking, corporate sponsorship of lunch programs, corporate subsidies, and corporate government interference. Rather easy to fix, too: DIY. Do It Yourself. That's what we have always done. Guest guest
EXACTLY!! The government introducing the free lunch program (giveaways) ensures their rotten little fingers will be in the food. Fatten up these poor kids! And give them heart disease, diabetes, etc. Warmly, Allison --- The Stewarts <stews9 wrote: > Yes, we agree that the food they issue in school > lunch programs sucks. > > Why does it, though? > > How come it's so bad, when in our day there was even > a school nutritionist > making sure the food offered was healthy and fresh? > > What changed? > > Corporate thinking, corporate sponsorship of lunch > programs, corporate > subsidies, and corporate government interference. > > Rather easy to fix, too: DIY. > > Do It Yourself. > > That's what we have always done. > Mail Plus - Powerful. [begin sarcasm] Corporate profits are - after all - sacred and infinitely more important than mere human beings. [end sarcasm] The present administration is ruled - lock, stock, and barrel - by corporate interests. As far as the school lunches go, however, I believe this has been going on for quite some time, and I don't think prior administrations are any less guilty in this instance. Guest guest
Sadly, you describe but the very tip of an iceberg that most will never believe exists.
