Guest guest
Hi, First, supposedly tomatillos are also available canned. Don't recall ever seeing them but so the web says. The mighty web also says you can substitute green tomatoes for tomatillos. Don't know if I believe that and also not sure whether green tomatoes are any more likely to be available than tomatillos. But I guess it would be worth a try. Of course, if you want to wait until summer and you have a garden, tomatillos are very easy to grow (well, they are in the San Francisco Bay Area) Gary
