Guest guest
canola oil is toxic and you can't cook with it. it's made of rapeseed, which even birds won't and can't eat. I avoid it Olives love me, and I love olives. Why don't I marry them, then? There are toxic strains of rape. Canola oil is made from non-toxic strains, or at least so I read. We use canola oil and have for a while with no ill effects. I don't have time to Google for URLs today, we're going out shortly. But anyone can do it - just Google on 'canola oil'. Guest guest
I agree with Pat. There's nothing toxic about it. Olive oil is my preference due to taste and it's ability to withstand high temp frying. Canola is a healthy alternative...Just as long as it's not heated to too high a temp.
