Guest guest Posted January 28, 2003 Report Share Posted January 28, 2003 Biscuits and Meatless Sausage Gravy Ingredients: 2 Gardenburger Meatless Breakfast Sausage Patties 1 teaspoon, plus 1 T. butter 1 T. flour 1 cup whole milk salt and pepper 2 prepared buttermilk (or your favorite) biscuits Brown Meatless Breakfast Sausage patties in 1 teaspoon of butter. Remove from pan once heated. Add 1 T. butter to pan drippings. When melted, add flour. Stir as if making a roux, until flour is slightly browned. Gradually add 1 c. of hot whole milk, stirring or whisking vigorously to prevent lumps and scraping up all of the browned bits in bottom of pan. Add more hot milk depending on the desired thickness.
