Guest guest
Hi Everyone, Does anyone have the veggie pizza that has the croissants for a crust and powdered ranch dressing and cream cheese and what ever else it has? I've misplaced mine and have been asked to bring it to a MOPS meeting on Friday. Thank in advance. Robin
Guest guest
I think I know what you mean and have had something similar at a Pampered Chef party. I will see if I have a recipe floating around here and try and post it today if somebody else doesn't beat me to it. ~ PT ~ There is a great deal of poetry and fine sentiment in a chest of tea. ~ Ralph Waldo Emerson, " Letters and Social Aims " ~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~> , rwhitt1212@a... wrote: > Hi Everyone, > Does anyone have the veggie pizza that has the croissants for a crust and > powdered ranch dressing and cream cheese and what ever else it has? Guest guest
PT, I think my recipe for " two-pepper pizza' might be in the archives someplace. it doesn't have the croissant pizza crust, but it has the ranch mix & regular ricotta could easily be substituted for the tofu vegan version I made. Guest guest
Does this get cooked? I ask b/c I think the recipe Robin is looking for is a cold appetizer type pizza finger-food thing. She should look in the files section at your recipe just to check though. Thanks for the heads up. Robin, I can't find my exact recipe, but I recall seeing it made and making it before myself if this is the same. What you do is take the crescent rolls (one or two packages depending on the size of your pan); I'd say two if you are using a 15x 10 cookie sheet. You roll out the dough and seal any seams. Bake it at 400 degrees for how ever long it takes to turn golden brown. Take out of oven and allow to cool. In a bowl you take two packages of cream cheese (you can use vegan). Blend into this 2 or 3 Tbs ranch dressing dip mix. Spread this over the cooled crust. Top with finely chopped green onions, carrots broccoli, green peppers etc. It is very good as is, but you can sprinkle the top with shredded cheddar cheese or mozzarella if you want. I think the kind I had before was just served without. Does this ring a bell? I hope it helps somewhat. Sorry I couldn't find the actual recipe I am thinking of. ~ PT ~ And proud she was of heart, when clad, In crimson stockings, tartan plaid... ~ William Wordsworth, " Memorials of a Tour in Scotland " ~~~~*~~~~*~~~~*~~~~*~~~~*~~~~*~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~> , " Megan Milligan " < yasminduran@l...> wrote: > PT, I think my recipe for " two-pepper pizza' might be in the archives > someplace. it doesn't have the croissant pizza crust, but it has the ranch > mix & regular ricotta could easily be substituted for the tofu vegan version > I made. > > Megan
