I'll give it a shot.

This is a chocolate crumb crust, premade, or you can make one with

crumbs, sugar (optional) and butter.

Usually a non-dairy coffee whitener, in liquid form, Amaretto flavoured

(almond)

Pretty straight forward - a prepackaged cheese cake mix, usually sold

with the cake mixes in the grocery store.

Chocolate chips

cherries, usually maraschino

Almond flavoured liqueur

non-dairy whipped topping, an edible oil product, like whipped cream,

usually found in the freezer section of the grocery store

Wine, and since its for drinking not cooking, I'd assume any dessert

wine you enjoy would be fine.

Pepperidge Farm makes a wide variety of cookies, but I'd guess this

refers to the vanilla wafers.

chocolate fudge ice cream topping

chocolate bits in tiny pieces, for decoration

Hope that helped!

Thanks for this it's alot easier to understand, I think the problem was I

didn't know most of the brand names.

Now some questions on subsitution :) ...

could you use soy milk & then a few drops of almond essence?

I have yet to see a packaged version of cheese cake over here, much less a

vegan one. Would using cream cheese work?

Another one we don't have, would soy cream work?

Yes it did, thanks I really appreciate it.

I would think so, yes, though I might add some sweetener of some sort as

well, as Amaretto is a sweet liqueur.

I'd use a standard no-bake cheesecake recipe, not just plain cream

cheese. You can find a VERY basic one at

http://www.my-meals.com/RecipeCenter/RecipeCard.aspx?RecipeID=2003

(basically cream cheese, sugar, cream beaten together).

Hm, that's tougher. I don't' know what soy cream is like. The point is

to have a light, whipped topping. Will soy cream whip up like whipped

cream? If so, then go for it. If not, I'd guess that many of the

" edible oil products " that pass for dairy around here would do the trick

and would be vegan to boot!
