Guest guest Posted March 19, 2001 Report Share Posted March 19, 2001 http://recipe.bhg.com/default.sph/recipe.class?FNC=view_recipe__Amember_sear ch_results2_html___5527 Hot Mulled Cider Submitted by member: MBalcer 1 jar (48 ounces) cranberry juice cocktail 1 can (46 ounces) unsweetened pineapple juice 3/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar 1 1/2 teaspoons whole cloves 3/4 teaspoon whole allspice 3 sticks cinnamon Orange or apple slices In 3-quart saucepan over medium heat, combine all ingredients except fruit slices. Cook until mixture comes to a gentle boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 15 minutes to blend flavors. To serve, pour into warmed punch bowl. Remove spices, if desired. Float orage or apple slices for garnish Ingredients may be combined and heated in 3-quart crockpot. Serve directly from crockpot. Rum can be served alongside for those who like a little extra holiday spirit. This is a quick and easy hot drink that's perfect for fall and winter.
