Guest guest
This one, I slightly modified from the orginal in the cookbook using vegetarian hot dogs, of course. This sounds like something kids would like too! Personally, I most often use the Morningstar Farms brand. These are readily available in most supermarkets. I've heard that Smart Dogs are good too. Would you believe that even my " anti-vegetarian " stepsons like the vegetarian hot dogs?!!! That's saying a lot! Morningstar Farms also makes great corndogs (regular on a stick kind and " mini " bite size kind). Unforunately, there was recently a recall on them because they were made with the genetically modified corn that was intended for animal feed (same deal as the Taco Bell stuff). Whenever they get that problem corrected and the product back out on the market -- I highly recommend them too. BTW -- Congratulations on the growth of the list, Jenny! I see that you've gone over 100 members as of today! Karen

We made them once when my father in law came over and he took my husband aside and said how he thought it was nice of us to cook meat for him, knowing we are vegan. We laughed and explained what they were...
