Cheese and Corn Chowder

3/4 cup water

1/2 cup chopped onion

1 1/2 cups sliced carrots

1 1/2 cups chopped celery

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon pepper

1 15 oz can whole kernel corn -- drained

1 15 oz can cream-style corn

3 cups milk

1 1/2 cups grated cheddar cheese

 

Combine water, onions, carrots, celery, salt, and pepper in slow cooker. Cover

and cook on high for 4 to 6 hours.

 

Add corn, milk, and cheese. Heat on high for 1 hour and then turn to low until

you are ready to eat.
