Guest guest
You asked about recipe software: I use a really great program called Now Your Cooking. It's not free, but it's well worth the $30 you pay for it. You get free upgrades for life, and Gary comes up with an upgrade quite often. It's awesome software. You just have to check it out. You can have unlimited number of cookbooks. You can enter your recipes by hand, scan them and import them (a little harder) or import recipes from the website. You can copy and paste recipes from lists like this into the screen import screen. You can make a menu and shopping list. You can sort your list by aisles specific to your grocery store. You can search across cookbooks by specific ingredient or by recipe name. You can get nutrition information. Resize recipes. I totally recommend it. There is an e-mail list like this one you can join, and Gary is a member of it and he answers questions very quickly. The website is: Now You're Cooking! Recipe Software or http://www.ffts.com/index.html Sherri Maryland
Guest guest
I have a cookbook program that I really like. It is free. R.J. (Bob) Ross wrote this program and I have been using it for about 2 years now. I started with his version 4.0. He just upgraded recently. Up until about the beginning of September, he had a website you could download it from. I contacted him and he has approved me passing it on to you if you would like it. You can download it from www3.telus.net/BobRoss. I like it because you can search for a specific word search and it will give you just that word search, i.e., ground beef. You won't get all the ground and all the beef....you will only get ground beef. It is really a great program. Marilyn

Guest guest
Hi Mary and anyone else having problems with finding my favorite cookbook, http://www3.telus.net/BobRoss/RJCB500.EXE is the actual cookbook program http://www3.telus.net/BobRoss/RJCB.exe is a self extracting file to make a correction for a bug in the original program http://www3.telus.net/BobRoss/RECIPES.EXE is a recipe collection from Bob Ross http://www3.telus.net/BobRoss/SETUPINSTRUCTIONS.TXT are the directions on how to set up the program on your computer. http://www3.telus.net/BobRoss/ReadMe.txt is a file telling you that there was a bug in RCB500 file and to run the self extracting file to replace the RJCB.exe file in the RJCB folder. If you have any further problems let me know.
