Au Gratin Green Beans - Crock Pot

 

 

2 16-oz cans green beans, drained

 

1/4 cup diced onions

 

1/2 cup cubed mild cheddar cheese

 

 

1/4 cup evaporated milk

 

1 tsp. flour

 

1/2 tsp. salt

 

dash of pepper

 

sliced almonds for garnish (optional)

 

Combine all ingredients in slow cooker. Cover. Cook on low 4 hours.

Garnish with sliced almonds, if you desire, at serving time.

Wow this looks great!!!

Did you use the French cut beans, or the regular cut beans, or the whole beans/

I think I would use French cut. What do you think.

I tried the French cut and they almost disappear, too thin. Use the

regular cut canned green beans. If you don't have an objection to

Velveta cheese it also works.
