Guest guest
1. How many people are in your household that you regularly prepare meals for? I cook for 5 now, all omnivores except for me. 2. Does your current crock pot satisfy your cooking needs? Not yet. i want to cook things in the crock that cannot be cooked on the stove. Like, spaghetti sauce and similar things don't help me to use the crockpot in my scenario. Stews are good for the crock, but to us they are more winter time food. I will keep looking and hopefully something will catch my eye. Since I have become vegetarian my crockpot lies dormant on top of the fridge. 3. Many of us answered last week's question about how many crock pots we currently have, but how many crock pots do you WISH you owned? What do you think would be the perfect amount to accomplish your cooking? I have no idea, LOL Hugs, Chanda

Does your current crock pot satisfy your cooking needs? Yes 3. Many of us answered last week's question about how many crock pots we currently have, but how many crock pots do you WISH you owned? What do you think would be the perfect amount to accomplish your cooking? I currently have 3 (or maybe 4, I'm not completely sure) big crockpots. I finally had to break down and throw away my mother's old one when the crockery insert started to crack. I normally use only 1 for everyday cooking, but the others come out of hiding for holidays, potlucks, family gatherings, friends getting together, etc.

Three to four, and I am the only vegetarian. > 2. Does your current crock pot satisfy your cooking needs? Yes, I think so. It is big enough to make a stew or soup for the meal and then have some left over for lunches. > 3. Many of us answered last week's question about how > many crock pots we currently have, but how many > crock pots do you WISH you owned? What do you think > would be the perfect amount to accomplish your > cooking? I think I would like to own 4 in total. I would like an extra large one, that is more oval in shape for bigger batch cooking. I would also like two more regular sized crocks to use during the holidays. I am happy with the two I have now though for every day cooking.

Guest guest
1. How many people are in your household that you regularly prepare meals for? 2 people, but I like making extra for leftovers. 2. Does your current crock pot satisfy your cooking needs? YES - ABSOLUTELY. 3. Many of us answered last week's question about how many crock pots we currently have, but how many crock pots do you WISH you owned? What do you think would be the perfect amount to accomplish your cooking? I have about 12 to 15 slow cookers, some of which are crock-pots, but my FAVORITE is the Hamilton Beach slow cooker with 3 size crocks that fit into one cooker. The three sizes are 2, 4 and 6 quart. So the only other sizes I would need would be my smaller than 2 quart, and my bigger than 6 quart. (which I do have). So as far as actually NEEDING, well no, I don't NEED any more. But it is always fun to get a new one! Linda )

Guest guest
Hi all - I cook for four of us, me and the three teenagers. Two of my kiddos are vegetarians, I am getting there and my oldest daughter is a meat eater. I usually use two crockpots, one for meat/one without, but would like to add another one for side dishes or dessert. I love everyone's ideas. Tammy When there is no wind, row. Guest guest
I currently cook for 3 people, but the babies will be beginnng to eat people food in the next couple of months, so it should be interesting - we're having the great debate now as to whether or not we introduce meat to the babies or not... I'll let you know how that goes! I think I'm the only one serious about not eating meat. My husband and oldest daughter will eat meat if we go out to eat. I LOVE my crock pot (I'm a working mom) My oldest daughter and I just cooked our first cake in the crock pot and it was a hit with the rest of the family. I just have the one crock pot now. I'd like at least another one since I'm getting so many great ideas about what I can cook in it! Amy
Guest guest
Right now, I cook for between 3 and 5 people. My husband is a very large man, so cooking for him is like cooking for 3 people, so if you include him, I cook for an army. lol Janice In the depth of Winter, I finally found That within me there lay an invincible Summer
Guest guest
1. How many people are in your household that you regularly prepare meals for? Just 2 of us. DH is not 100% vegetarian, but he eats vegetarian most of the time. 2. Does your current crock pot satisfy your cooking needs? I would have to say I suppose so. The last few things I have made in the crock pot have not turned out so well. I'm still not sure what size I have and I think that is part of my problem. 3. Many of us answered last week's question about how many crock pots we currently have, but how many crock pots do you WISH you owned? What do you think would be the perfect amount to accomplish your cooking? I wish I owned a few more. Some smaller ones for sure. I would like to be able to host parties at my house and have enough crock pots to cook a few different things and to be able to keep things warm.
