Hello Christie. Broccoli slaw comes in a bag like regular

cole slaw salad shredded cabbage with carrots, except it

is made of shredded broccoli stems. It is a great way to

use up your leftover broccoli stems when you are making

a dish out of florets. It is easy to make your own broccoli

slaw mix by just shredding the stems on a cheese grater.

Thanks PT - I don't believe that we get bags like this over here - we

just get the cole slaw already made up (shudder - never my favourite

thing to eat because I don't like mayonnaise) but I could certainly do

with a way to use up those broccoli stems - thanks for the repost and

thanks Judy for the explanation and photo!

Slaw does not need to be made with mayo. I have a good recipe that doesn't

use mayo. It's home and I'm not so I can't look it up.
