Guest guest Posted January 11, 2010 Report Share Posted January 11, 2010 Slow Cooker Curried Rice and Lentils 1 cup rice 1 tablespoon curry powder 3 1/2 cups vegetable broth 1/2 cup lentils 2 vegetarian bouillon cubes 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder 1/4 teaspoon pepper 1 onion -- diced Combine all the ingredients in a crock pot. Cover and cook on low for 4 to 5 hours. Makes 6 one-half cup servings, as a side dish Indian inspired curried rice and lentils is a full vegetarian and vegan meal right out of your crock pot or slow cooker. It couldn't be simpler.
