Guest guest
Bernadette, Here are some URLs of recipe-laden sites to browse through. Even one site will have enough to get you through. There's lots of variety here, so don't worry about the PB & Js. 8-) Happy hunting! -Sandy http://vegetarianrecipe.com/ (tons of recipes) http://www.vegkitchen.com/ (tons of recipes) http://www.ivu.org/recipes/regions.html (recipes from around the world, by region) http://www.vegweb.com/frames/index/ (Recipe directory by category or alphabetical) http://www.boutell.com/vegetarian/ (Meal plan and recipes for one week) http://starburst.cbl.cees.edu/~tara/recipes.html (vegan recipes) Bernadette O'Brien wrote: > I am not a vegetarian, but I am planning on giving up meat for Lent > so I guess that I will be a vegetarian for (at least) 40 days. Guest guest
I am not a vegetarian, but I am planning on giving up meat for Lent so I guess that I will be a vegetarian for (at least) 40 days. I desperately need some help in recipes because I really can't see eating peanut butter for all that time. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. *************************************** I think it's great you've decided to give up meat on Lent. Go to the supermarket or healthfood store. You should be able to find many " veggie meats. " MorningStar Farms puts out an exceptionally good and wide variety located in the frozen food section. Buffalo Chicken Wings, Chicken Nuggets, Sausage patties/links, corn dogs, hot dogs, burgers....the choices are endless. ~debbie
Guest guest
Hi my family loves the Harvest Burger soy crumbles and Harvest Burger Patties. The patties are good served as a hamburger but also very yummy on a homemade pizza. Also try with cooked mushrooms and swiss cheese. Best of luck, Carla - BlueRosesNSept Thursday, March 02, 2000 2:34 PM Re: thanks from new r BlueRosesNSept I am not a vegetarian, but I am planning on giving up meat for Lentso I guess that I will be a vegetarian for (at least) 40 days.
