Guest guest
--I often have a passion for okra so the other night got to experimenting and came up with this one - it is quick and easy as I am an improvisor: 1 lb of noodles (I used 1/2 linguini and 1/2 soba) 1 box frozen okra, whole 1-1/2 to 2 cups of cheese(s) or to taste 1/3 oz of slivered almonds Boil the noodles and the okra together (saves on pot washing) to desired consistency. Remove with a pasta " spoon " into a large bowl, sprinkling shredded cheese over each spoonful. I used a combination of mozzarella and mild cheddar for the cheeses - and probably used more than 2 cups. When all of the noodles and okra are out of the pan, sprinkle on about 1/2 of a small (2/3 oz) bag of almonds and mix thoroughly. Kick back and enjoy! ~~Jenny Whaat!!! Have you tried The Doghouse??!
