Guest guest
Mmm...yum! We've had a LONG strawberry season down here in Texas, and it's been just wonderful! Had lots of blueberries and cherries, too. Haven't had those in a long time! I like to plop a Granny Smith apple in my bag whenever I go somewhere, if I remember to do so. I LOVE that kind of apple. Yum! ~Emmy~ ______________________ Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com

Guest guest
i'm not really a person who can just sit and eat fruit, yeah i know that is weird...this morning i made a very quick and easy fruit shake, just using a handful of frozen fruit (the kind that has not been sweetened), a banana, and a bunch of soy milk.....it was fantastic! -cherrie "I have from an early age abjured the use of meat, and the time will come when men such as I will look upon the murder of animals as they now look upon the murder of men." Guest guest
Carrie, You can do what I do... Nobody offers non meat sandwhiches at my school so just get two pieces of whole wheat bread and spread your favorite marmalade or fruit preserves on both sides (orange for me) and then complement that with thin fruit slices in between! It's delicious! (Try Smuckers orange preserves and slice not so ripe peaches). It's a good way to get your fruits! If you don't feel like eating bread, you can also make a salad wrap, which is ust basically taking a few leaves of lettuce and putting all the vegetables you like on it, wrapping it around itself, and then poking a toothpick with an orange at the end to keep the wrap shut. This is also a good snack if you like tomatoes and cheese (I'm sure you can subsitute for a non dairy cheese like product if your vegan). Slice the tomato from top into wedges, but not fully. just leave space in between each wedge, but don't fully slice each wedge from the whole thing. Then put cheese in between each wedge (I luve mozzarella) and then pour a viniagrette in the middle. These are relatively simple, but when you have don't have the time, all the better, right? I hope they helped! ~Madi I In a message dated 7/25/00 1:13:20 PM Eastern Daylight Time, Jaydog writes: << Carrie~~ Don't forget to eat your fruit, too! ~~Jenny >>
