Guest guest
I, too, wish we could focus on the wonderful recipes and food information that comes from folks on this list rather than deal with any individual's political agenda. Guest guest
I have been a " quiet, E-mail reader " I never really had much to say until now. I don't eat meat, but still like my dairy.....My husband and 2 children still eat meat. I feel that is their choice. I don't think it is right to have outside influencing them to not drink milk, or eat meat. I am sure as a vegetarian we have all mentioned to our family or close friends how the animals are not treated well. shouldn't that be enough for them to make their own choice? I do understand that the cows aren't treated nice, and people have a right to know that. But giving hand-outs to kids as they leave school??? That is wrong, not only does that go against freedom of the kids rights, but it also goes against what we have told our kids from day one " Don't talk to, or take anything from strangers " If they feel they need to get a point across then go to the parents, not the kids!
