Guest guest
Taco Bell beans are reconstituted. (At least they were 6 years ago.) Nothing is added except water in the actual restaurant. I don't know about in the processing plant. Jessica
Guest guest
Hi all. I have a quick random question. Are the refried beans at TacoBell vegetarian or do they have lard? Thanks for your help! Crystal
Guest guest
Hi there, This is actually my first post here and I have been really enjoying this list :-) and the recipes. You know, I heard that the beans they use at Taco Bell come in a powdered form that they just add water to, does anyone know if that's true? Supposedly a friend of a friend who worked there said this was true. I also heard some other horror stories that could qualify as urban legends but I won't go there <g> Landa > > Hi all. Guest guest
Hey, from a fellow DCer! My boss passed on a copy of Vegetarian Times on to me a couple months ago that said that the Taco Bell refried beans don't have any lard, so they're vegetarian. Guest guest
Hi all. Much thanks to everyone who responded to my Taco Bell question! I don't eat fast food often, but sometimes it can't be avoided. It's nice to know there is at least one place to eat.
