I am from Brazil, and a very popular way of eating avocados overthere

is put a avocado in a blender with milk and sugar (or honey)just

becareful not to put too much milk. I usually smash my with a fork,

put sugar over and them milk, I like the lumps.

I eat them all the time, I'll post my guacomole recipe

tomorow...

avocado's have the good type of cholesterol, when my

friend's dr told him he had to lower his chol.. he was

told to eat more avocado's

also, it has just been proven that if you add avocado

to your spinach (like in a salad) it brings out the

nutrients from the spinach - ups the iron, etc...

Wow, I knew that I was smart, but I had no idea of exactly how smart! I make a

spinach salad with a homemade balsamic vinagarette.

 

Spinach- bag or fresh!

 

Dressing ingredients:

Creamy dijon mustard

Balsalmic vinager

Olive oil

Avacado

Mandarin oranges+ some juice to top dressing ingredients

toasted sunflower seeds.

Salt & pepper

Mix ingredients in blender depending how bitter you want it. I usually like

it a taupe color, so I use 1/4 cup olive oil as a base. I use about 1/8 cup

vinager, about the same mustard. Use some of the oranges liquid to salad

dressing. Add salt and pepper to taste, pulse to emulisify!

 

I like my dressing with a bite so I add more balsalmic, plus it makes it a

bit less fattening to use more balsalmic. I use the seeds, oranges , and

avacados liberally. I like lots of oranges and seeds. I have no exact recipe, I

rarely do. I just taste, if it tastes good, then its good! Hope you all love
