What are peppercorns?? Hi Jane

Hi Jane,

I just use a little black pepper. I rarely ever use peppercorns but some recipes do call for them. Just like Cathrine said, round blac kteeny balls in a bottle in the spice section of the market. DonnaJane <twoslim wrote:

Chicken (Veat for us) and Mushroom Pie. It calls for 4 Black Peppercorns. What are Peppercorns???

 

Do I need to go out to the store and buy some, or is that just another way of saying "pepper".

hahahaha I can't stand peppercorns either. Got a bit of one stuck between my molars years back and they are very strong in flavor. Just sub the recipe with black pepper. that's the nice thing about cooking. You can add and subtract to a recipe and change flavors all around. Send us your recipe. DonnaJane <twoslim wrote:
