Guest guest
HI Donna: Your welcome... I came across this recipe a few years back and have been making it since. I think in cooking you can do anything you want so it you want to add kelp go for it. If you want to cut up a little bit of apple in your salad you can to that as well. Or maybe some red onion. Or you can use salad dressing instead of mayo. I am not a big fan of sea vegetables so I have never tried adding it to recipes. Guest guest
How funny that you made something similar today. So are you on the East coast, West coast or somewhere in between? I'm on the east coast. Gayle
Guest guest
Wow Jenni: that's a lot of moving in 1 year. I hope you like DC. I am about 4 or 5 hours north of you. Gayle
Guest guest
I will try your version. My mom is allergic to soy so I never make my recipe for her. I think yours could also be a mock tuna salad with some kelp, what do you think? I know my mock tuna and mock egg I posted are very close in ingredients. Thanks for this recipe, Donnaglpveg4life wrote: 1 can Garbanzo beans 1 stalk celery shredded carrot scallions mustard mayonnaise pickle relish drain beans and mash with a fork add chopped celery, shredded carrots, scallions, pickle relish, mustard and may. mix so all is blended. add salt and pepper to taste.
