Guest guest
I would love to get some achiote. Is it pretty cheap there? In regards to my pregnancy, I'm now 16 weeks along. I had kind of lost track of time because for the past few weeks I haven't felt pregnant at all! Saw our midwife last Wednesday and all my stats are perfect. She does have a concern of me not getting enough protein and basing it too much on soy. She says that since we don't know the sex of the baby eating too much soy could be harmful if it's a boy. So, I'm continuing with my food diary which I started when I found out. I'm still eating lots of fruit and still finding it difficult to eat lots of veggies, which is exact opposite of how I used to eat. James made some stuffed anaheim peppers for his party and I made pesto. We had a lovely intimate crowd and lots of food and a few kids. James also made some molasses bread on Sunday and I'm munching away on that at work today. I did find all vegetarian vitamins at http://www.vegetarianvitamin.com/index.html . They had good prices and very well documented ingredients. I'll let you know how quickly my order comes. Oh, and I did experience something exciting! I was lying in bed Saturday morning, crawling back in after walking the animals around the property. I was petting my cat when I felt this strange flutter in my stomach. My reflex was to actually look at my stomach because the way it felt I thought my tummy was moving around. I think I felt the baby for the first time! I work with the lunch truck crew and many are not willing to try anything at potluck unless someone brings in pizza, bucket of chicken or store bought tater salad that tastes awful to me. > Thank you for sharing this recipe and let me know if I can mail you some achiote, It's all over the place here. > You have a wonderful birthday party with James. > Let all of us know how you are feeling and the exact number of weeks into your pregnancy you are now. > Hugs, Donna
