One that would work for the tofu dogs as well. My recipes all seema little to heavy. Phew! Back to my desk. Love all of you! Donna Donna, have you tried adding vital gluten to your recipe? It can help lighten it. The recipe I have is a little heavy, but I add a little gluten (I'm not sure how much - just a handful) and some extra liquid.. it makes it a little stickier to work with, but lightens up, especially if you knead a little longer than normal too. Guest guest Posted September 12, 2005 Report Share Posted September 12, 2005 HI Donna: I found my recipe to be very heavy as well so I changed the recipe and made 2 cups of the flour unbleached white flour and the rest is whole wheat.
