cranberry walnut galettes RECIPE note

oh YUM>>

I filed the cranberry walnut galletles in pies as well as filing the

walnut pastry doug seperately... cuz i think it would be yummy with so

many things..

mmm

 

like chocolate mousse! =)

 

with nuts sprinkled on top..

well the mousse that I make is simple... melt a bag of chocolate chips,

whip it into a block of silken tofu (really< I've used either kind..)

add a tbsp or two of maple syrup, IF NEEDED, and let it sit in the

fridge.. oh my gosh.yum

You DO mean the soft tofu right, or is there an xtra soft?

Chanda, I'm not sure what she uses, but I usually use firm silken -

the kind in the " juice box " , vs the kind in the tub of water. And

blend longer than you think you need to.

On second thought, that's what I use for pudding... maybe soft would

be better for a mousse?

I've used both!

i usually have extra firm in water inthe fridge at all times.. that

works great, as does firm silken (the other one I keep on hand!)

 

it's soo good !

and sooo chocolatey! =)

hmmm, I haven't seen it, but then again haven't looked for it, I will look

with " alternative " foods...
