I used to build dollhouses and make dollhouse furniture. With my hands

getting bad its much easier to build sim houses, but lacks the

satisfaction.

 

 

 

What other crafty artsy folks are lurking in the mix?

 

Ok, it looks like we are a crafty and artsy bunch of

folks! What other sort of crafts and art do people do

in here?

I love to create/decorate theme cakes (my kids just had an exploding

lava cake for their b-days), this built up my wrist strength so I

also do the gallery glass stuff for windows. I am pretty good at

macrame, and am in the process of making origami flowers. I am the

craft lady in our mommy group, I love coming up with different

projects for the kids. It takes me hours to get a craft ready for

the kids to do, and just minutes go by before they are saying what's

next!! My mom is really crafty...she got a job in the office at AC

Moore to help her support her habit;)

 

Oh and cooking, I think of cooking as an art...I love creating

wonderful tasting and looking food.

--- I cross-stitch, scrapbook, and quilt. while Mark is gone I have

some major scrapbooking to do and both kids want quilts for their beds

so I will be busy. I may just machine stitch the quilts and then

handstitch the embellishments on for each kid.........I may expand my

horizons out though. the kids like arts and crafts with recycled stuff

on Friday nights when we make homemade pizza. that way the mess made

doesn't stress me out for school the next day : ).........
