Guest guest
Here's something to try. Instead of using the noodles take russet potatoes and make long flat semi thin slices and use as the noodles in layers next time. (you slice the potatoes flat and lengthwise). Guest guest
--- potato lasagna might also be good with a white cheese sauce possibly with some white wine added and mushrooms, other possible veggies? I'm going to rack my brain on this one today as I finish cleaning the house and scrubbing floors. my goal is to get it all done so I can sit down to watch my favorite show--House (Fox) tonight. Bones is also interesting which is right before House. Plus sitting down tonight will give me some good ideas for supper tomorrow as it will be getting quite chilly here--possibly twinge of frost : ). take care......... Anne bread rising tip--buying a cheap 3-pack NEW shower caps is the most awesome homemade way of helping bread rise. just put one over the bowl the dough is rising in and it creates a bit of humidity yet it can still breathe. then just wash them and reuse : ). Cool, Anne - those are like those Saran wrap bowl covers. I always think of them as shower caps even though they're sold in the wrap & foil aisle! :-) Have fun with the potato lasagna ideas! Tonight I am making the pizza that was just posted, with black beans & cilantro... *hugs* Amy
