I can't get avocados all year round so this makes a good substitution between dips.

Brocomole

2 cups chopped fresh broccoli, cooked and chilled

1/4 cup reduced fat sour cream or sour cream of your choice

3 tablespoons chopped onion

1 clove garlic minced

1 tablespoon of mayonnaise of your choice

1 lime juiced

1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon chili powder

sprinkle of salt

(optional 1/2 tomato seeded and chopped)

In the blender or food processor combine all ingredients. Blend until smooth. Transfer to medium bowl and chill until ready to serve.

Ohhhhhhhhhh thank You Chanda for the compliment.

I think you will like this dip. I put it on pita chips.

This is a fantastic group and I want to say, I will be making many

dishes from the recipe files over the holidays. I will try to post

more of mine when I return back home where all my bits of papers and

cookbooks remain.

Love to everyone, Mya

He'll get used to it, Julie, and learn to trust you're making

something yummy! *grin*
