I sprayed some veggie oil on the Formen and grilled them up. Mustard, lettuce on an oion bun. Very yummy. I had it again for dinner today LOL! Anyway! I new people! I've been pretty happy with practically all of Morningstar's products outside of their new (to me) chik'n strips. The bag states, " just add to your favorite recipe. " Tried it in a stir fry....shudder. While the taste wasn't bad, I found that it got limp and kind of slimy and I just couldn't eat it. It's definitely not something you could serve to carnivores and have them rave about it. LOL I have a bag of their " steak " strips in the freezer also, but am hestitant to even try them. Guest guest
I'm curious, too. I love meatless chicken filets. Morningstar Farms does a great slightly spicy patty. And I also love just about any style of " chicken " that Quorn makes. I'm sure some people on this list have opinions about Quorn, but I love it and neither I nor my husband ever had any " issues " after eating it. Although I have to admit, I was mighty scared the first time I tried it, after all the horror stories I'd read. -Craige On 10/6/05, purplepassion <thelilacflower wrote: > > Hello JLyn, there you are. Guest guest
I, too, love all the Quorn chickn & turky products. We love making the roast and then having turky sandwiches, YUM! However, I did have a problem with their other products. I tried their grounds and I'm not sure if I used too much or what but I had a digestive problem that night that wasn't nice. I've been weary ever since of all grounds products thinking that the high concentration of protein might have affected me, but I don't have any problem with the Smart Grounds. I try not to buy too many Morningstar Farms products because they are so full of products. Have you read their ingredients labels? Geesh, it's a novel!
