juicing question Matt

I used a juicer a few years back. I did a few carrots, bunch of spinach and an

apple. I loved those three together. The problem with the juicer was it took

so long to clean up. My friend with Aids was on a strict juicing diet so I

ended up giving it to him.

I am crazy about my juicer. I bought the Jack LeLanne

Power juicer. I make all kinds of juice. I know it's

probably too late but cheap juicers will cost you more

money in the long run. With my juicer I get about qa

cup of juice for one apple whereas my friend with her

cheap one has to do almost a whole pound to get the

same amount.

My fav combos...

Spinach and pineapple

Strawberries, grape, peach

Strawberry, kiwi, apple

Strawberry carrot, apple

grape pear

beet, spinach, kale, parsley, apple, carrot (this is a

powerhouse juice!!!!!)

I have tons. i just experiment. Of course there is the

easy orange/pineapple or just straight ol orange!!!

Best OJ ever.

Also Strawberry lemonade is great out of a juicer.(add

an apple or two) I add a little agave nectar to

sweeten if the lemons are too tart.

Oh yes I am! It is super healthy and the pineapple

makes it sweet. I actually am drinking it now. I got

the idea from Mr. Naturals in Austin, Tx. (a veggie

mexican place that is AMAZING!)

Well, I may have to try it then... it just sounds so odd... :-)

You use how much of each for one drink, guesstimate?

Thanks,

Amy

Thanks, Melissa! The proportions were more important than the actual

numbers...
