Oh Laura, I know you are a new vegetarian and there are so many things you

wouldn't believe contain animals products. . Don't use Jello, it's gelatin and

sugar. Gelatin is made from boiled hoofs, hides and bones of animals. bet you

had no idea of that. Believe me it never was a healthy thing to eat, dye, sugar

and animals hoofs. I know many of use have been shocked about ingredients .

It is surprising how much candy contains gelatin. If you want to avoid

eating hoofs, start reading those labels. Ones I can think of off the top of

my head... marshmallows, Skittles, Starburst. One probably should not be

eating that kind of candy anyway. There are some veggie marshmallows out

there, though. I got some recently from a Massachusetts company called Tiny

Dancer, I think. Shoot, that's not right. That's an Elton John song. I have

seen this company's products at Whole Foods lately. If anyone is interested,

I can check at home as I still have some left. Just in time for hot cocoa

season!

yeah Laura, we have been shocked.

I was going around screaming the praises of cooper sharp cheese, then I found

out..... you have to be careful with cheeses, some, like my cooper sharp contain

rennet, which is the lining of a baby cow's stomach.

If you are unsure of anything just ask :o)

alright! I will not sleep tonight. Who in the heck,no.....how in the heck do

you take the lining out of a stomach!! That is the most horrible thing I have

ever heard of !! Shoot fire, I had the lining taken out of my uterus but I

would not even think of eating it!! Where do people come up with this " way to

eat " ? That sounds like something off a TV show.

Thank God I found this site!

<gives Julie a cup of my brandy and sits her in my comfy chair>

I know Julie, it was probably the same peeps who thought it was a great idea to

take an animals intestines and stuff them with the meat of the animal along with

little tiny pieces of grizzle and bone matter. See the logic?

Go here sweetie, and I am postingthis link in the links section of our group for
