Guest guest
I'm in the mood for those veggie crab cakes I wanna try. I have to make the " fish " sauce first, and I have no soy sauce left. I will do this tomorrow cause I am going to market today. ) - Julie Braswell Tuesday, October 18, 2005 1:58 PM I'm in the mood for...... Home made gingersnaps, like TODAY!! Guest guest
i'm in the mood for.... LOVE! *lol* That song just popped in my head. What i am in the mood to eat right now is a yummy BLT & A sandwich made with the MSF fakey bacon strips. The 'A' stands for avocado... ~ pt ~ " No one likes to be criticized, but criticism can be something like the desert wind that, in whipping the tender stalks, forces them to strike their roots down deeper for security. Guest guest
I have been in the mood for some chili lately but it has been verywarm here in the daytime and not right for eating. maybe when the temp cools down more i will cook. here is a question for the group: if i want to make a vegetarian version of my chili should i use a ground meat alternative or just use all beans? i usually do the chili in a 6 quart crockpot so price usually gets expensive to make but lasts a long time. i can give the recipe for how i make it with meat if anyone wants so that a good camparison can be made but i wont without be asked since this is a vegetarian list. matt What FOOD are you in the mood for? lol! Guest guest
I don't use a meat sub, I just use beans and it is great. after all Chile is without meat anyway, it's Chile con carne that has the meat. ) Blessings, Chanda - ranmalover2005 Tuesday, October 18, 2005 8:53 PM Re: I'm in the mood for...... But, if it's an absolute favorite as is, ground meat alternative or the tvp cooked in some non-meat broth (maybe the unbeef one posted a bit ago?) would probably be the most familiar... Guest guest
I don't make it with any fake meat. I like it better with just beans and stewed tomatoes and lots of spices. And served over brown rice. Yum! Sometimes if I have the inclination I also add some chopped carrots and peppers. -Craige
Guest guest
Hi Matt: I make my vegetarian chili with just beans. I will post the recipe however I don't know if I will be able to do it before next weekend. Gayle
