I made Lawanna's collard greens and I must have eaten half the pan. They are

beyond great.

Like Chanda also says, give greens a try. I have tasted greens but never cared

for them. I sure loved this recipe and I will make them again.

Amy you have to try them, I know you never cared for greens but I think you will

change your mind after you taste these.

I am so glad you like them, thanks lawanna, you are an ANGEL.

Amy, i would try mustard greens first, they are less bitter then the collard.

Now that I have a better understanding of how they should be cooked, thanks to

Lawanna, i will come up with a mustard green recipe next week.

I am gonna try turnip greens next week for the first time. :o)

Chanda

I swear these were not a bit bitter. Lawanna knew what to do because

the apple really made the dish along with garlic. Now I cooked

carrot tops and damn those had my lips puckered up like a

goldfish.........Eeeeeeeeeeeuuuuuuuuuu!

Yes, post the mustard greens and I'll try them. Donna

LOL!

well it's hard for me to tell, cause like wildman Steve says, there is bad

bitter and good bitter, and I like bitter. To me the greens are good bitter.

maybe someday I will be able to hack a grapefruit, as I have always thought they

were intended to run car engines.
