Guest guest
Okay all of you pros here, I need a recommendation on a good mayonnaise substitute. I bought the nasoya, and can I just say......EWWWW! I need something that at least tastes similar and smells similar to the real thing. Okay, one more question. Is tofu one of those things that you either like or you don't? Or is it more a gradual taste? Just curious, 'cause we made smoothies the other night and I added some silken to my smoothie and it seemed to give it an " off " taste? Maybe used too much? I'm really not sure, but I've been told by alot of people that you usually can't taste a difference if you add it in a smoothie or sauce, etc. Thanks so much! Guest guest
http://www.followyourheart.com/products.html Michelle you have to try Veganaise in any of the jars shown. That stuff is better than regular mayo. Ask Chanda. It's in the deli section of most major markets and in health food stores. See if the link I sent you posts an address in your area. I agree, that Nasoya is the worst, I can't stand it. Donna cheles2kids <cheles2kids wrote: Okay all of you pros here, I need a recommendation on a good mayonnaise substitute. Guest guest
LOL I told her to ask you! I couldn't believe the taste. My sister kept telling me to try it but I put the idea off. I was like Michelle, that Nasoya was so bad I didn't want anything but real mayo. Not anymore. I'm a Veganaise addict....Donna PuterWitch <puterwitch wrote:VEGANAISE!!!!!!! I can't say it enough.
