I have not tried this yet (sorry about that, I just got the book on

darkcydesky's recommendation - maybe she has tried it?). It's pretty

simple though, and I've had the flavors together so I'm sure it will

work. In any case, I had to post this for you because of the name:

 

Purple Passion Smoothie (from Carb-Conscious Vegetarian)

 

1 1/2 c fresh or frozen blueberries

1/2 c soymilk

1/2 banana, peeled, cut into chunks, and frozen

6 ice cubes

 

In a blender, combine all ingredients and blend until smooth.

 

Serves 2.

I make this all the time except use chunk pineapple in place of the ice.
