Do you ever travel to the states? no, i don't. i was thinking that if vegannaise is sealed, then it can be shipped. but that's 45 days, and if it isn't " that " sealed then... or my aunt can do what some other filipinos do: when someone they know is going home, they send a few items with them and our family will get it from them. that way, i get it in a day or 2. the only problem there is she has to know who's going home. that means i have to wait for i dunno how long! I spent 4 years in Angeles City, and I do miss lumpia and pancit. I would absolutely love to get a pancit recipe as well as banana and vegetable lumpia recipes. A recipe for a sinigang would be interesting, if you have one, but the tamarind might be hard to get here in the US. I am also looking for the recipe for a dessert soup using pumpkin and coconut milk.

Ooh, that sounds yummy! > A recipe for a sinigang would be interesting, if you have one, but the > tamarind might be hard to get here in the US. I've gotten tamarind pods & paste at Indian stores, and here in CA I just saw the paste in a health food store. Got anything like that near you? You might be able to get it online too.
