Guest guest
Is there a difference between the brown flax seed and the golden flax seeds? Besides for the color. Gayle
Guest guest
Thank you. I had not seen the golden ones before I used to always buy the brown one. I aksed my husband and daughter to buy some for me and they came home from Wild Oats with the golden ones. Gayle
Guest guest
HI Donna: I also had never seen the lighter ones. They bought them as they thought they would blend it to foods better. Gayle

No. A lot of places like to say there is, but the nutritional difference is insignificant. See the Canadian flax board site... I don't remember the URL but remember when I researched flax a while ago .... ah, back from Google; it's http://www.flaxcouncil.ca/primer.htm . That'll be more than you thought you wanted to know! :-)
Guest guest
Isn't that funny? I have always use the darker ones and last time Whole Foods had the light ones and I thought they were underdeveloped........LOL They sure did taste the same. I think we learn something new every single day in here. Donna glpveg4life wrote: Thank you. I had not seen the golden ones before I used to always buy the brown one.
