Guest guest Posted October 31, 2005 Report Share Posted October 31, 2005 Well, one guy came to work dressed as me, Donna He's got on a shirt that states " I'm A Vegetarian " and an auburn wig, big silver hoops, oranges stuffed in a bra under the T-shirt, and a name badge with the name Donna and a bag of vegetables in one hand and of course he's got on Levi 501's...........LOL It's actually an honor, maybe the other coworkers will think about this. It looked really good, and when I dropped my daughter off at daycare people really thought I was a nun on the way back to my car, LOL. After the hard work day all I wanted to do was get home, I forgot I was even wearing a costume. During the drive home this jerk cut me off and I nearly had to run up onto the sidewalk. When I then was next to him I looked over and said something like, " ya know you nearly made me run off the road " or something, and he came back at me with a mouthful of foul talk, soooooo, I gave him the ol' obscene gesture, not the middle finger, the other one that is a shake of the wrist to mean you Jerk O. ....that one .... and while giving him the gesture I said it, " you Jerk _ _ _ " Well. ......... After the few seconds that it took to dawn on me why this guy now appeared to be in shock with his mouth hanging open and eyes all wide I had to pull over and LMAO. Oh man, I had tears thinking of his face, and I will never forget the expression. Since the office likes to pick a theme we voted on all dressing up as a different month of the year. The winner was April Showers, she built a shower around herself! Very good. I was a growing piece of corn, I'll post a photo of me with the winner in my file. I'm probably the last person in this group to make the Applepaj, but I baked it up late last night for our potluck. Oh my, it took everything to keep from digging into it early. Thankfully it was so late, 11:30pm, and I still had to let it cool, that I just went to bed. But, I had a good size piece today and it is scrumptious! And it was so incredibly easy to make! I used some nutmeg (which I love) since I only had cardomon seeds and didn't want to hand grind any up. Blessed Samhain and Happy Halloween! What an honor to be " copied " for Halloween!!! :-) I wore my cat ears and tail (and all black) to work this morning.
